Suzy Q Candles started with not just an idea, but a passion. From decades of greatful service, Susan McCallister started Suzy Q Candles as she does with all things, by asking God, "What would you like me to do for you?," which Susan felt lead to continue in coming to the aid others by way of using her talents and skills in decorating and crafting.

Living in the state of West Virginia with her husband Donald (who is also a United Methodist Minister http://memorialsummitpoint.com and a U.S. Navy Veteran) she found a mission that gives her peace, love and joy. In making candles, she is able to supply herself with the uptmost directive by ensuring each candle is done at her very best knowing it will reside one day on someones table to be delighted and enjoyed. In addition, each candle is created and shipped with a prayer for health, love and peace, to the ones surrounded by its ora.

While working on a farm in her younger years, Susan's creative talents and skills has given her a great eye for both decorative and fruitful passions towards all things bright and beautful. The name Suzy Q derived from her given nick name as a child which many of her relatives thought the name just 'fit' her personality. Charming and caring, yet sassy and passionate--all of which gave Susan the drive, with the aid of her husband, to start this new journey and see whom they can touch amongst the hopefully many customers that come alone their path.
